6/7/07:Celebrated Mei Lin's, Pam Ng's and Kellyn's birthdays at Zhen Fa Huo Hai Xian(this popular steamboat place at Marine South).
The place was so smoky and had super poor service.
Those people working there were not of much help.
They sat down and slacked most of the time and their attitudes were soooo... shit.
Anyways, after eating,we got out Mei Lin's cake and started singing the birthday song to the three birthday girls(Pam and Kellyn were just celebrating their birthdays 1 day in advance so the real birthday girl of the day was Mei Lin).
Btw, I seriously think that the person who prepared the cake from Secret Recipe had no brains.
A knife wasn't even provided.
Which senseless person would think that a birthday cake could be cut without a knife?
Anyways, we had no choice but to borrow a plastic fork from the kitchen(they didnt have a proper knife and most were dirty and oily).
And obviously the cake was in a mess after cutting it.
After eating the cake, the rest of us(some went home) went to the arcade and started playing this car racing game.
I'm not an arcade person so I just stood there watching them screaming and shouting while playing the game.
Went Esplanade after that and we decided to stroll to the Merlion.
It was then that Sook Fung decided to play some boring games.
She kept teaching us the rules but in fact, no one was listening, which made her look like a fool! Lol...
Then someone suggested telling ghost stories.
So we sat in a circle and listened to various ghost stories.
Sook Fung's story was supposed to be an exciting one but she screwed it up by doing weird actions which made all of us laughed like hell.
Haha! What an unsuccessful ghost story teller!
I think it was Linda's story that truely spooked us all.
Anyone who wants to hear it, come to me! :)
The impact was so great that after we all parted ways, Esther, Helicia and I called our parents and told them to wait for us below our flats.
Thinking about it again gives me the creeps!
HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY MEI LIN!!!7/7/07:Esther called me at 12 plus to ask me whether I could go to the NDP's rehearsal with her.
She mentioned that Ivy was supposed to go with her but she had something on.
Yup, and I went along.
The parade was way cool!!!
Well, it was boring at first but then it began to get better and better towards the end.
I loved the showcase of the various units of S'pore!
I find it especially cool! The various different units of S'pore and their equipments!
And the fireworks were
AMAZING.
Splendid!
Superb!
Marvellous!
I've managed to take many pictures and videos of it.
But too bad, my hp has no bluetooth so I can't upload the pictures :(
HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY PAM NG AND KELLYN!!!8/7/07:Went out with daddy today.
We headed to Marine Square for his bowling practice(he has a bowling competition nxt week, organized by his company).
I sucked at it.
Haven't bowled in such a long time.
We played 3 games.
1st game:Daddy - 125
Me - 106
2nd game:Daddy - 127
Me - 107
3rd game:Daddy - 158
Me - 65
I was tired after the 2nd game.
So that explains my score in the 3rd game XD
Went to eat KFC and then we went to watch Transformers.
The movie was
SUPER COOL.IT IS FREAKING NICE!ALL YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO HASN'T CAUGHT IT YET, GO WATCH IT!YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!! Besides, I want to buy the DVD!!!!!!!
It is so far one of the best movie I've ever watched!
Maybe the best so far!
The visual effects are so damn nice that you'll want more!
