It's a gloomy rainy Thursday morning and I'm supposed to be sleeping now.
But I just realised that I wouldn't be able to update bloggie for a couple of days so this will be my last post till next time.
Preparations for my new house seem to be proceeding well.
Today's the last day of preparations and after today, everything will be done - I suppose,
TVs and some household appliances are coming today so I've to collect them later.
I'm impressed with the lightings and the kitchen is like so awesome.
But I think mum overshot the budget to renovate our house - about $30,000 to $40,000?
My parents don't seem to have any qualms giving up so much for the house.
Dad said by doing so, the future value of the house will be increased.
I'm supposed to go for the SMSS chalet later this evening but I don't know I'll be able to make it.
I'll be spending my whole day cleaning the house tomorrow.
But we'll probably start cleaning the new house tonight so that we don't have to stress ourselves tomorrow.
And then, we'll be moving in on Saturday.
Okays, now, about Tue's bdae celebration.
Went to Paragon's Thai Express for dinner and we surprised Jasmine with a cake.
I'm also glad she liked the present that we bought for her - a Guess handbag.
After that, we went Cineleisure's E-Max and booked a room to hang out.
Played Monopoly while watching Ratatouille(actually I didn't even watch it, was too busy playing)
And yes!
I emerged as the winner for the game!
My hotel was a killer as almost everyone landed on it and had to pay a hefty sum of $9,500 each time.
Too bad the game didn't last long enough - I wanted to build the last hotel on my property so that I would have 3 in a row.
Finding a present for Jasmine was tough because almost everything that we saw didn't seem to suit her.
And those that suited her were way over our budget.
Wanted to get her a top.
But Eneida and I lost track a couple of times - we walked into shops but ended up shopping for ourselves, looking at clothes that we liked.
Then we decided to head town to get the cake first and decide about the present later.
That's when we past the Guess shop and went in.
And we came out with a Guess handbag, specially bought for Jasmine to break her wrist(LOL!)
After that, we headed to Paragon to get the cake and waited for Choun Meng to come.
While waiting for him, we walked around Paragon but didn't even dare to walk into any of the shops.
All seemed so high class and so, we were embarrassed to even walk in to take a look.
So the gay monkey arrived, handed the money to us and we went home after hanging out awhile.
Now, the upcoming event is to celebrate Choun Meng's birthday - 16th March.
We're planning to hunt for his present on 14th and celebrate on 15th instead.
If all goes well, we might be able to book a hotel room to stay overnight too!
And probably play Monopoly the whole night again.
LOL.
Right, okay, now I'm getting sleepy so I think I'll just hop into bed and sleep till 11am.
