It's been a long time since you sat down to listen to what I had to say.
Sometimes when I talk to you, I regret doing so.
My words has never reached you.
Either you ignore me or I get cut off before finishing my sentence.
And once I get cut off, you're always moving onto the next phase, leaving me there with so much to say.
It's never taking my feelings into consideration.
It's always about you thinking you're always right.
And it's always making the same comparison with me and other people.
You've never once thought about my identity for once.
I'm me.
Not some intelligent colleague's kid. Neither am I the intellectual and well loved relative that you've always wished I was.
Even if I'm not that pretty, or bright, or the dream child you've always wished to have, I am still me and that would never change.
So stop making comparisons, making me feel inferior.

If we could one day sit down and listen to each other, without being interuppted for once, and without you making a fuss saying how wrong I am in having that way of thinking, I'd think that it would probably be one of the best days in my life.
But of course, judging from how you perceive matters, it's a ridiculous thought on my part.
