[Current mood: slightly hungry]
[Current song: Jason Mraz - Love for a child]

13th March:

To start off the afternoon, Alvis popped by for lunch.
And I cooked spaghetti - yummy!

Watching some kiddo show on Okto - he's a kid at heart =D

And then we headed to TBP to get tickets for 'Race to Witch Mountain' before paying a visit to our dear dear friends at the IT Show.
Firstly, Ying!

And SHA brought her little surprise along on that day, specially for Ying (Look at the 'surprise' standing at the back of both girls)
Surprisingly, his initials was also H.Y! (What's his name again? I forgot, please enlighten me, SHA =D)

Next up on the list was Kaizhi, Gabriel and Leonard.
We managed to spot Leonard and Gabriel at first but we didn't seem to see Kaizhi around.
The most surprising thing was that we walked past Kaizhi twice without recognising him!
He probably looked different because he wasn't wearing his polo T.
And I caught him in action, serving a customer!

Diligent Kaizhi at work, as usual! Haha.

After the visit, we went to Macs at Suntec for (his) late lunch cause Alvis was hungry (he's always hungry).
And then back to TBP to have MOS burger for (my) dinner and to the cinema to catch our movie.
Race to Witch Mountain is a kiddo movie with fantasies for kids - UFOs and stuff.
The movie was quite okay but just too kiddo for me. Haha.

15th March:

My last day at work and I've finally found someone decent and friendly to chat with at work!
So far, almost everyone at work has been quite quiet/antisocial/boring/intimidating.
But not this colleague!
We clicked instantly once I opened my mouth - probably because she was also from RP.
Thank God, my last day of work wasn't as boring as hell.

Joke of the night:

While chatting happily with Marilyn, a woman approached us, asking to look at the Parker pens in the display. Apparently her son (his age was around 6-7) wanted to buy a Parker pen, which costed 100 plus bucks! He asked Marilyn to take out the pens 1 by 1 to let him see.

Boy: I want fountain pen.
Marilyn took out a fountain pen and showed it to him.
Boy: No.
Marilyn: Huh? What no?
Boy: No. I want fountain pen.
Marilyn: This is a fountain pen.
Boy: No.
We looked at each other, puzzled.
Boy: That one *pointing to a rollerball pen*
Marilyn: That's not a fountain pen.
Boy: I want that.
Marilyn did some stabbing action at him when he wasn't looking which made me laughed a little.

So when Marilyn was writing a pricelist for him to pay at the cashier, he took out his roll of 50 bucks, threw on the counter to Marilyn and pointed to it.
I was like $%!%^&^%, thinking he must be filthy rich for him to throw money at others.
We directed him to pay at the cashier and Marilyn was disgusted with him and all.
And then, when he returned to collect his pen, Marilyn did that one thing that made me laugh hard.

Boy: My pen?
Marilyn passed the box to him and he turned to walk away.
Marilyn: Hey, do you want a plastic bag?
Boy: Huh?
Marilyn: A plastic bag *doing an action to explain to him what a plastic bag looks like*
Boy: Oh.

Marilyn dug out a dirty, crumpled plastic bag from the dustbin area and handed to him.
I laughed silently and she followed suit.
The boy stared at us intently before he ran off to where his mum was.
After he left, I burst out laughing.

Me: Why did you give him that bag! *laughing hard*
Marilyn: Cause' he was irritating and I hate kids being so rude and all. *laughing even harder*
Me: But you could have taken a neater bag at the cashier to give him what!
Both of us just stared at each other laughing retardedly.

It was nice working with her.
Such a pity that it was my last day.
